Keeper of the Lost Cities: Book 1

My thoughts

I think that Keeper of The Lost Cities is a wonderful book. It takes your mind on a roller coaster with extreme moments and complicated characters. If you read Keeper Of The Lost Cities, you will feel like you are in the story with the characters. Shannon Messenger does an amazing job of making you hold your breath during the scary parts, but also gives comic relief with funny phrases such as "Am I supposed to help Frodo destroy the ring and save Middle Earth? Or do I have to make toys in the North Pole?" I recommend this book to anybody 9 and up.

Sophie must leave her family, who have never known, and never will know, that she is not theirs. Can Sophie survive the dangerous adventures that she must embark on to save the elven world?

Setting

Keeper of The Lost Cities, AKA: KOTLC is set in modern times, it begins in San Diego. Later on, Sophie is brought to the Lost Cities, the mysterious world of the elves. Locations commonly mentioned are Everglen and Havenfield, both the home of some very important characters.

Review

There is nothing I dislike about Keeper of The Lost Cities, although I should warn you about Shannon Messenger's evil cliffhangers. It can get a little frustrating, but the next book will end your curiosity, that is until you finish that book. Hehe. Anyways, I give Keeper of The Lost Cities a five star review and recommend that you read it ASAP!
